Abstract
Certain behaviors of academic teachers towards students as well as university staff, both academic teachers and persons performing other functions, can be assessed as inappropriate, reprehensible. Some of those may be prohibited acts – crimes or offenses. Other may be disciplinary offenses or acts of mobbing. Sometimes the perpetrator’s act may fall into more than one category of behavior. Particularly noteworthy situations arise at the “confluence” of two or three regimes of responsibility.
