MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Studia Iuridica uses Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA). Please, consult https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/oscola for detailed information about editing requirements. Authors are required to pre-edit their submissions in accordance with OSCOLA.
We accept original articles (20.000-40.000 characters, including spaces), case notes (10-20.000 characters, including spaces) or book reviews (7.000-24.000 characters, including spaces). Longer texts will not be accepted.
Each text should include: a) a title, b) an abstract of max. 150 words, c) 4-6 keywords or phrases (in English and in Polish; if you are not a Polish speaker, we will provide the Polish translation), d) appropriate academic references in the form of footnotes, e) a final section titled 'References' listing in alfabetical order all academic works referenced in the manustricpts (articles, monographs, chapters in edited volumes. Please do not include case law, legislation, official reports, resolutions, or similar materials in the list; these should appear only in footnotes.
In the panel, authors must upload 1) an anonymized version of the manuscript (without names, affiliations, or any identifying reference); 2) a seperate title page contantiing full information about the author or authors. These include: name, affiliation, e-mail address, and ORCID number.
Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements will be returned to the author for revision.
All manuscripts are screened using appropriate similarity-check software to detect and prevent plagiarism and other forms of academic and research misconduct. By submitting a manuscript, the author or authors confirm that their work complies with our ethical requirements and agree to this screening process.
